I think New York City is more religious than Utah.
I used to think that Jews outnumbered the other religious groups, but today made me think otherwise. Today is Ash Wednesday, and man were there a lot of ashed foreheads on the subway this evening. New York City is a religiously diverse place. Between, yarmulkes, ash, Harikrishnas, and Jehovah's Witnesses on the subway I feel like religion is more prevalent here than it ever was in Utah.
